These cinnamon buns have become MANDATORY for our Christmas morning. Try them once, and you’ll see why!
'Land of Nod' Cinnamon Buns
Ingredients
- 20 frozen dough rolls
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup vanilla instant pudding
- 1 - 2 Tbsp cinnamon
- 3/4 cup raisins
- 1/4 - 1/2 cup melted butter
Instructions
- Grease a 10" bundt pan and add frozen rolls.
- Sprinkle with brown sugar, pudding powder, cinnamon and raisins.
- Pour melted butter over all.
- Cover with a clean, damp cloth and leave out at room temperature over night.
- In the morning, preheat oven to 350F and bake for 25 minutes.
- Let sit for 5 minutes and then turn out on a serving plate.
- Grab a coffee, pull apart a bun (before they disappear) and go watch your family open presents or whatever it is you do on Christmas morning. Enjoy.
Ohhh yummy! My mom makes a version of this, her recipe uses butterscotch pudding mix though. Hope you have a Merry Christmas, Barb :)
Oooh, love! My brother and I have a tradition of making cinnamon rolls together on Christmas Eve for breakfast the next morning.
We thought about skipping it this year, because it’s always such a huge mess and then it takes forever to bake them when they come out of the fridge in the am.
But *these* we could totally do! Thanks for saving our tradition!
They look awesome. I’d love one right about now! :)
It’s 3 o’clock and I’m at work. These would make a great snack right now.
Mmmmm, simple and yummy. Love it.
These sound and look delish! I will have to buy some frozen bread or rolls and try this soon.
Yummy.
Everything with cinnamon is yummy~! It looks great:)

This looks amazing! We also have cinnamon buns on Christmas morning. A friend sent us some gourmet ones that we just had to heat – they were amazing. Next year, this is on my list!
