‘Land of Nod’ cinnamon buns

Cinnamon-BunsThese cinnamon buns have become MANDATORY for our Christmas morning. Try them once, and you’ll see why!

'Land of Nod' Cinnamon Buns
 
Ingredients
  • 20 frozen dough rolls
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup vanilla instant pudding
  • 1 - 2 Tbsp cinnamon
  • 3/4 cup raisins
  • 1/4 - 1/2 cup melted butter
Instructions
  1. Grease a 10" bundt pan and add frozen rolls.
  2. Sprinkle with brown sugar, pudding powder, cinnamon and raisins.
  3. Pour melted butter over all.
  4. Cover with a clean, damp cloth and leave out at room temperature over night.
  5. In the morning, preheat oven to 350F and bake for 25 minutes.
  6. Let sit for 5 minutes and then turn out on a serving plate.
  7. Grab a coffee, pull apart a bun (before they disappear) and go watch your family open presents or whatever it is you do on Christmas morning. Enjoy.

    Ohhh yummy! My mom makes a version of this, her recipe uses butterscotch pudding mix though. Hope you have a Merry Christmas, Barb :)

    Oooh, love! My brother and I have a tradition of making cinnamon rolls together on Christmas Eve for breakfast the next morning.
    We thought about skipping it this year, because it’s always such a huge mess and then it takes forever to bake them when they come out of the fridge in the am.
    But *these* we could totally do! Thanks for saving our tradition!

    This looks amazing! We also have cinnamon buns on Christmas morning. A friend sent us some gourmet ones that we just had to heat – they were amazing. Next year, this is on my list!
