That’s the question Kim is asking today at Friday Finds.
I can answer that one quite quickly; flowers.
Oh, and autumn, and spring, and summer, and winter.
My DSLR, my iPhone camera, Photoshop, and Lightroom.
Blogging, reading blogs, other people’s work, and lately, Flickr.
Books, catalogues, magazines, and manuals.
My creative “spidy senses” are always on high alert (sometimes I wish they weren’t). Good golly, can I not just watch a sunrise without rushing to grab my camera? Yesterday as I was grocery shopping, I picked up a fennel bulb. Hubby asked what I was going to do with it, and I said, well it has a wonderful licorice flavour, but… I think I want to photograph it… hmmmm… (that gave us both a good laugh).
So what about you? What is inspiring you? Head over to Kim Klassen dot com to check out some great “Friday Finds”. That’s a great place to find inspiration, I can assure you!
Have a wonderful Friday!
and those are lovely flowers!
Aren’t white roses just delicious? And I laughed when I read how the urge to photograph a sunset instead of just sitting and enjoying it. The compulsiveness of capturing “the moment” gets me every time. Can’t wait to see the fennel bulb photographed. :-)
One can never get too many roses, these are gorgeous! I’m inspired by people, all seasons and reading blogs :)
Beautiful image, and I have been there with the fennel.
oh, my! white roses are my favorite!!!
The flowers are gorgeous. Love the angle you chose. Today is a beautiful day here so I’m photographing my boots and new fishing pole!
I smiled when reading you grabbing the vegetable just because of the color or the form … I recognize myself in your descrition :-) Those roses are so beautiful – White roses just have something special over them!
Spidey sense that is a great term, my head is always turning this way and that lol. Glorious roses btw, have a great weekend.
I’m with about taking photos; today I was at the grocery store and spotted a bouquet of roses. I had to run back to the car to retrieve my forgotten phone to take a photo of them.
It has taken me a while, but I’m coming around to the beauty of white. I love saturated colors so it has been a journey for me but I’m getting there. Your beautiful white flowers are pushing me closer. Now … on the bit about flowers being your muse … I’m right there with you. As soon as I can no longer shoot outdoors {because I’m a wimp in cold weather}, I will buy and shoot flowers all winter long.
I’m with you on all those things, Barb. I’m constantly inspired…can’t always create out of my inspirations though…but I try…Your white roses are pure prettiness!
