This is what I see

June 6, 2012 by Barb 12 Comments

It’s the time of year when all the leaves are new and everything is so green and fresh. As I was sitting at the table this morning having breakfast I was thinking how I just can’t believe how green and lush it is in our yard right now. It’s been raining lightly for two days and all the trees are loving it . . .

View from the kitchen table . . .
from the front door . . .
from the bedroom (sweet dreams). . .
from the sitting room/office . . .
and from the kitchen table again . . .

Then, in the fall everything is yellow and gold – it’s so stunning (but I shouldn’t be thinking about that right now or even mentioning it . . .)

same lush green hear…there is something about the blanket of gray above that enhances the vitality of the emerald, don’t you think?

I planted a tree in my back yard three years ago to shade the house. It’s still a stick. Love these photos.
