Snowy days and snowy nights.
Teeny, snow-covered trees.
Roaring fires.
These are some of the things I love about where I live.
After Christmas I moved my little Charlie Brown trees outside, and set them on a barn wood table on the deck.
I was thoroughly enjoying the view … and then it snowed; light, feathery flakes, drifting slowly downward, settling on the branches and catching in the birch logs I’d propped up beside the table.
… be still my heart … it takes nothing more than a tiny branch, a tin can, and some snow to make me happy …
I store a bit of wood in a rustic old crate for use in our fireplace. It’s much more convenient than what we did last winter, which was stack it out of sight on the side of the house. It was the biggest pain ever to go out and get, which resulted in less fires.
But now … I don’t want to disturb it ;)

Thank you Lisa! You stay warm too!
I love the seasons, even though winters here can be long and hard.
This year has been a strange one though, with nothing more than a dusting of snow so far.
I really missed it at Christmas time.
Have a wonderful weekend!
Thank you Lisa!
There are some days I happily envy those with snow. It makes for fantastic photos. These are beautiful Barb. I live where you can go snow skiing in the morning…drive down the mountain and see the coast and then decide to go visit the beach and still be home in time for dinner!
Thank you so much Kelly! Sounds like a magical place where you live!
What beautiful pictures of the snow. Our world is full of wonders :)
Have a great weekend,

beautiful. :)
What a different life from mine here is Florida. I dreamed as a child about your kind of snow. When I move to Montana in a couple years I will get to have that snowy life too!
Beautiful photos!!
