It’s the first day of autumn! in case ya didn’t know! and it’s a glorious, sunny, warm, calm day here. I hope it’s equally as beautiful wherever you are!
I missed 5 Fact Friday (again)(ugh). Can’t seem to keep up!
Thought I’d play catch-up, so here is my “10 Facts (Saturday)”
- I took this photo after leaving the Provincial Courthouse where I paid my ticket.
- He asked “Are you here to save money?”
- I said “Yes.”
- He asked “Did you watch the video?”
- I said “Yes.”
- He asked “Did you stop?”
- I said “No.”
- He said “OK, I’ll reduce the fine – no demerits.”
- I said “Thank you very much, sir.”
- He said “You’re welcome.”
It bites. What I did was not so bad – truly – I am a careful driver. Even the clerk at the courthouse said this amounts to a money grab by the city.
Lesson learned. I won’t be doing that particular infraction ever again. What a bad girl am I.
Now that I’ve ranted I feel better. Thanks for listening!

Been there, done that…only when I ran the stop sign I hit someone, that was definitely bad. Sure learned my lesson and definitely paid the dues in more ways than one.
Glad you got off lightly! Our weather is beautiful here, though a little warm. I think next week we are expecting cooler temps. Hurry up fall!
