Halloween Vignette

October 20, 2011 by Barb 26 Comments

I like to celebrate all the holidays with some kind of decorations and Halloween vignette is no exception.

I started with an old window I just recently found at my favourite antique shop (a treasure), and layered a metal picture of a bird on top of it. I then added a black candelabra with black and white candles.

I spray painted some dried baby’s breath that I had picked this past summer and stuck it in an old vase.

In the process of spray painting outside, a few real leaves got painted so I decided to include them (and added a few more).

The witch was a gift from a friend and the branches I found out in my yard. Add in the usual spider webs and spiders and there you have it! So simple but so fun!

You did a great job with this vignette. I love all the eerie and rustic elements…makes me feel like I’m in an authentic haunted house. Love the painted babies breath–what a great idea! I’d love if you checked my “mantle” out too!

Halloween is far from our tradition, but I can’t help putting some decorations! I love yours, especially bottles and this strange witch:)
