This summer I’ve been thinking a lot about blogging … some people say it’s dying … others say it’s changing. I happen to agree.
I just recently became aware of the term “microblogging” which is …
blogging done with severe space or size constraints typically by posting frequent brief messages about personal activities
Merriam-Webster
I guess microblogging has been around for quite some time, as the definition includes services such as Twitter and Facebook … I just didn’t see it that way. I only came to see I was microblogging when I realized Instagram is just another form of it … .
This week I decided to try something new, and I created a story on Steller using photos from my Rosemary Thyme Parmesan Shortbread what a blast! … how cool is that!? Steller liked it ;)

So I don’t know where blogging is going, nor do I know where Instagram is going … nor Steller … nor Facebook … nor Twitter … .
So I do as I like … and I do it because I like it. And when I don’t like it, I won’t do it … I’ll move on.
Oh, and I’m not saying the end of my blog is near … it isn’t. Because right now, I still like it … and I wonder … was this a micro post?

mmm…micro-blogging….yes, I guess that’s what I’ve switched to…I have found IG totally inspiring – so much easier and quicker to use…my blog has been suffering…download pics, edit pics, post pics, write and edit copy…too many steps…too bad you can’t post directly to your blog like you can post directly to FB from IG…in any case…love your post today…including the first pic….like the idea of the canvas background…may have to paint something like that to use…always a pleasure to check in here…

Thank you for stopping by Amy … I know that you mentioned you wouldn’t be posting to your blog as much … but I love to see you on IG.
