I LOVE the simplicity of this beautiful old bowl. Imagine the hands that kneeded bread or other food items in this bowl.

Simple and useful “homey” things are my favorite photos…quilts, earthenware bowls, bread boards, homespun towels, and yes, wooden bowls and spoons!

This is what I was looking for at the antique shops when we were in Prescott and you had it all the time. ::::So pretty no kidding I was walking around looking for an old wooden bowl. I love the things I got but will have to keep checking when I go up again or come and steal yours.

My favorite Shaker hymn! And since I live only 10 miles from one of the best preserved Shaker settlements, I feel a special affinity to them. I certainly need more of their simplicity in my life … and I’m trying! Love the bowl and the crop of the photo.
