Spring is here as evidenced by my newly potted baby succulents #fromthepottingbench! Don’t you just love what a simple glass container and rocks can do?
I love this so much, I think I’m going to make a larger version.
It’s about thyme, wouldn’t you say? My garden is stirring…
Pink tips of a purple globe onion (allium).
The promise of peonies to come.
Sweet spring light.
The pussy willows are bursting at the seams.
Something needs to be straightened out and painted (arghhh)…
I found the inspiration of spring everywhere.

I’m loving the look of spring on your blog! We are just ahead of you here in Virginia. The peony blossoms opened today and so I spent the morning posing them and coaxing them to do my bidding. Your backlit photos are gorgeous – all that light. I also love the photo of the succulent plant from above – very cool and contemporary.
It must be fun for you to come from our climate to yours and see all the new happenings going on in your part of home. Love the succulents and the way you potted them
It is so funny I use to think succulents were so ugly when my mom had them when I was growing up, now I find them delightful to photograph.
You’ve found such beautiful touches of color and light! Happy spring to you!

Hi Barb,
Such a marvellous beauty you’ve found from the succulent … And the nature around you!
Your mindfull eye catches small miracles – thank you for sharing them!
Such beautiful plants and succulents. I would love to visit that pier/dock with a lounge chair, a sun hat and pair of sun glasses, something cool to drink, and an umbrella to shield me from the brunt of the sun (oh yes, sunscreen, too).
Beautiful! My peonies are blooming like crazy right now!
You have such a great eye for detail……wonderful, inspiring shots. Your echeveria looks lovely amongst the pebbles.
So glad Spring has found you Barb, I love those succulents..
Your pictures are so beautiful! Spring has finally arrived!
Your photos are gorgeous. Love this time of year when everything is popping through and it’s a sign of the beautiful days to come!
