The Signs are Everywhere – Friday Finds

May 9, 2014 by Barb 28 Comments

Spring is here as evidenced by my newly potted baby succulents #fromthepottingbench! Don’t you just love what a simple glass container and rocks can do?

I love this so much, I think I’m going to make a larger version.

It’s about thyme, wouldn’t you say? My garden is stirring…

The promise of peonies to come.

Something needs to be straightened out and painted (arghhh)…

I’m loving the look of spring on your blog! We are just ahead of you here in Virginia. The peony blossoms opened today and so I spent the morning posing them and coaxing them to do my bidding. Your backlit photos are gorgeous – all that light. I also love the photo of the succulent plant from above – very cool and contemporary.

It is so funny I use to think succulents were so ugly when my mom had them when I was growing up, now I find them delightful to photograph.

Such beautiful plants and succulents. I would love to visit that pier/dock with a lounge chair, a sun hat and pair of sun glasses, something cool to drink, and an umbrella to shield me from the brunt of the sun (oh yes, sunscreen, too).
