Hello, and welcome to Sunday Sundries! I’m here to ramble on about my week, it helps me be grateful and to “celebrate” all the small (and large) extraordinary moments in my life.
As the last part of August is upon us, I’m loving the quiet foggy mornings, the warm sunny days, and the cool evenings.
There’s a hint of (you know what) in the air, and yet everything is still green, except for some of the wayside wildflowers …
… for some reason I adore this plant (although I don’t know what it is.) Growing sparsely in ditches, it reminds me of a tumbleweed, although I’ve never seen one tumbling around. For now, it’s a mystery left for me to solve … or not.
Next … the beautiful and abundant tansy, another wayside find:
Today has been so slow … we had a late night last night, and I’ve basically been putting one foot in front of the other today … waiting for bedtime … I think I’ll simply celebrate a good sleep tonight!
Are you celebrating anything?

I love your quiet simple little post today, celebrating a good nights sleep. The tansy is so pretty and such a nice bunch to be found in the ditches…but I adore the top plant, especially the color, and your rusted colander. Have a lovely week Barb!

I love the shot of the tansy. The abstract painting behind is perfect to make the most of the container….I hope you sleep is peaceful and content all week…
