Snow white

May 22, 2011 by Barb 23 Comments

This weekend we are enjoying fabulous, warm, sunny weather. We were out on our boat this afternoon with our daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren. It has been wonderful. We wait months and months for this. So why do I choose for my Sunday Best, a photo that reminds me of (sn*w)? There’s just no explaining it – I’m Canadian? I love white flowers? Both, I guess.

I love white flowers too and I think I have the same as you have in a picture. Also white tulip and cherry trees are blooming all together now so it is pretty white:)

It is not easy shooting white flowers. You’ve done an excellent job – the details of thees blossoms are gorgeous as is the bokeh.

Hello fellow Canadian! Nice to meet you. Thanks for ‘dropping’ by my blog yesterday.
Beautiful shot of that Spirea(?)…..I like it when the wind scatters the old blossoms everywhere….much like a snowfall I guess.

This is such a beautiful white image! Wonderful perspective and focus. It’s amazing to me how many flowers can be crowded onto one thin branch!

I saw your photo before reading your words and thought the same thing, it does have a very wintry feel, I think it is the lighting. But at the same time it is a very lovely photo!

    Hiya Barb.

Yes, I share your passion for white flowers, especially close-up. Sometimes white climbing roses don’t quite make it, as they can look like pieces of dirty tissue stuck up a tree. Most others look great though.
