Last week was downright freezing but the only morning I missed my walk was the day it hit -30 degrees Celsius. Brrrrr… double brrrrr… that’s not cold, that’s dangerous.
But now those temperatures are a thing of the past (for the moment), and it’s a regular heat wave today at +3 degrees – water is dripping from the roof.
Our snow ghosts are already “disappearing”…
Last night we served dinner for 9 people, and I have to say I’m pretty happy with the way everything turned out. I’ll have a recipe on the blog soon… but now it’s time to relax (yay) and later we’re heading over to join some friends to watch the Grey Cup.
Have a wonderful, relaxing Sunday!
So much snow – fun!!
No wonder you are ready for the holidays to come….with all the snow it certainly puts you in the spirit of Christmas. Beautiful captures of that delightful snow. Sounds like your weekend was and is perfect!!
and here i was whining about 35F today for my run/walk! :)
A recipe (perk)…for what pray tell! Love your ghosts!
… yummy gingerbread… :)
Such beautiful scenes … but it does make me feel shivery. You deserve a break today … hope you took it!
Such beautiful photography! I stumbled onto you site from the simple thing link party -what a treat! You must be a fellow Canadian -you mentioned watching the Grey Cup. I just got back from watching with some friends (had to leave early to put the kids to bed) -I’m not a huge football fan, but I am from Saskatchewan, so I think it’s pretty nifty!
Quite different than my weekend for sure, none the less so pretty but so different. Hard for me to believe that it is November looking at your images. I had never heard of the word Snow Ghosts before but it fits.
Oh, just magical! :)
Such beautiful snowy scenes.
The only good thing about cold weather is pretty snow pictures! Yours are just lovely.
The quilt of snow on the landscape is indeed beautiful. Have a wonder filled week! http://lauriekazmierczak.com/door-to-possibility/
