I saw this ship way off in the distance but by the time she finally got close enough for me to take a photo – her sails were down! A bit of a disappointment but I still thought she was beautiful. I’ve applied several of my own textures; rust, jacaranda trees, clouds and icy branches. A few different blend modes, a vignette, and done! I could tinker with it all day but you get to the point where it just seems to be right. Love it. Looks like an old map photo!

Wow, that was amazing. I’ve never tried textures.
That is gorgeous! Your beautiful edits make it look like ship out of a storybook from yesteryear.
I really like how you incorporated unconventional (to me at least) textures. I never would think to us a jacaranda tree (one of my favorite trees) or icy branches. Thanks for a little inspiration this morning!
very cool! i love the texture in the finished product
Great shot! I love what the texture adds to it, it definitely makes it look like an old nautical map!
This is gorgeous. I had no idea such textures could yield such a beautiful result. Another thing on my long to do list to learn.
Gorgeous, love the texture you added to it!
Wow, lovely texture application!
Very nice – I’ve never been able to mess with textures (as I use Lightroom) however have been debating downloading Gimp just to have the (free) ability to try and see what it’s like. You texture-users sure do make it tempting! Great work!
Very nice textures, almost makes it look like an oil painting!
