Meadow Rue

June 7, 2011 by Barb 14 Comments

This is such an unassuming plant in my garden. It grows in a rather shady, dry, cool bed but never complains. I love these fluffy flowers that it produces – so delicate! I used Kim Klassen’s new freebie texture ‘subtly yours’ that she so graciously gave us on Sunday. Her post was ’10 Steps to Happiness – Get Started Today’. Lovely post, lovely gift. Thank you, Kim. Make sure you check out all the other textured photos at her blog:

I have some rue growing in one of my tire containers, but it came from seed. I’ll have to take a photo of it while it’s flowering.

Yours is much prettier — great photo and quote by Aristotle. :)

This is a favorite flower in my shade garden. Your texture work makes them seem even more delicate.

Oh wow, do you know the name of these flowers? I agree with you, they are so delicate! And I could always use flowers who do well in the shade. I love your image and you did a great job with the texture.

I have this plant growing in my front flower bed, in the shade as well, and for three years I’ve wondered what it was. Now, I know! : ) Yippee!

It’s so pretty and delicate isn’t it?
