Highbush cranberries

September 26, 2011 by Barb 25 Comments

A walk this morning brought me to these highbush cranberries that grow quite profusely in the dappled sunlight of our yard. They delight me all year long – white flowers in spring, berries turning to orange in midsummer, then to bright red in the autumn which carries right through the winter.

I thought a few textures from Kim Klassen were in order so I added ‘gratitude scratched’ ‘graduation day’ and ‘antiques’. Magic – works every time!

Barb, this combination of photo and texture is really beautiful. Don’t think I’ve ever seen them. Thanks for joining me on the walk – digitally, that is. Happy Monday!

Yes, definitely clever and creative work. I found kim’s site a few months ago – it’s amazing and her videos are so informative. I’m still getting my confidence with using textures so it’s great to photos like yours and take it in.
