Hello November! I love your stark beauty.
Goodbye October! You were beautiful!
A bald eagle paid a visit …
… along the path on a calm October afternoon…
and oh yes, we had a wee bit of snow :(
But October really was about a wonderful Thanksgiving spent with family; making the most of the weather with great food, playing cards, and gathering around fires in the fireplace.
My IG account wrap-up has everything from leaves, to succulents, to clocks, to fresh peonies preserved in the fridge! (I’ll be sending out this 9 photo LR template in the next newsletter.)
Looking forward to this new month so much!
Have a wonderful day everyone, and thank you for stopping by!

That looks like more than a “wee bit” of snow! We haven’t had any here yet (and I’m in no hurry for it). I agree with you about the stark beauty of November. I think of November as a grey month, perhaps in contrast to all of October’s color, but I like it. I’m looking forward to our Thanksgiving Day this month. There is so much to be grateful for every single day!
Um, yes the snow … it was more than a wee bit! and then we had a second and third dump!! argh! Thank you for stopping by!
Hi Barb,
your photos are awesome, but your first photo has this fabulous minimalism of November. I love it !
Best regards, Synnöve
Thank you so much for your kind words Synnöve!
Oh my my! Those are some gorgeous photographs! I’m in awe.
Hopping from NaBloPoMo and I love you space. :)
Happy NaBloPoMo!
Thank you so much Shalini!
Gorgeous images Barb! I’m loving your IG collage.
We’ve had lots of snow here as well , although it warmed up yesterday and the sun came out. Sunny and warm temps are suposed to last for a few days so I’m cleaning out my greenhouse today and setting it up as a little still life studio. It will need a heater during the winter but you’d be amazed at how warm it gets on a sunny day! :)
I’ve already fallen down on November blogging but I’ve decided to blog as often as I can and then not stress about the rest. I’m going to spend more time on my still life photography , which I’ve sadly neglected for the last several months.
I look forward to your posts this month though! :)
