Friday Finds already? I can’t believe how time flies!
Over the Thanksgiving weekend, we received not one, but two beautiful bouquets … love … and in one of them, I spied what I thought looked like red pepper berries.
After picking one, and first crushing, then tasting it, my suspicions were confirmed—spicy, peppery, aromatic!
Happily, I’m still alive today, so I guess it wasn’t a poisonous variety.
I thought they looked pretty nice paired up with my red pears …
… berry bokeh …
So this will wrap up my week-long obsession with red pears, that is unless they end up in a beautiful pear tart that I have to show you!
All images were processed in LR with the kk_warmandslight preset.
Have a wonderful weekend everyone!
Stunning Barb those pears look wonderful.
As Viv said and just awesome.

they’re very pretty! so glad you didn’t die from your taste test. :)
Those berries are beautiful! I love all the texture in the wood. I was confused at first with your Thanksgiving comment, I forgot Thanksgiving was a different day for you. :)
Lovely Barb, your berry bokeh was berry nice. :)
Oh, these are lovely! The pepper berries are perfect with the gorgeous pears!
Oh these are just beautiful Barb!! Love pepper berries!!
Great berry finds and so great that they weren’t poisonous.
All of these are wonderful, Barb, but the second to last one here?
Simply perfection. Looks like something from a magazine.
Oh Barb! your pictures are gorgeous, I love them all, really, with a preference for the third one… your pears look so fresh and healthy, and this bunch of berries… so lovely in the blue bottle! and all the wooden textures under, behind, all this rustic atmosphere… really really wonderful!
I adore your red pepper berries … I am not sure if I have seen any before, but I am definitely going to keep my eyes out for them now! They photograph so well … and a perfect pairing with those pears … beautiful!
Simply gorgeous, especially the the second to last one! :))
beautiful. I would have been to scared to taste them. I haven’t started in with the pears yet….but i have to go to market tomorrow.
Lovely colours and atmosphere, the colours of the pears and the berries are so warm. Beautiful compositions. you have a lot of beautiful wood in your home!
Oh my word! This is gorgeous!
Love the berry bokeh shot!! You have a gift with editing and composing shots.
What a beautiful series of photos! I love the red pepper berries!
You are braver than me – no tasting. They do make for beautiful pictures, as do the red pears.
Barb, I agree with Kim. I think these are some of your very best photographs. I like the depth of composition – especially the image with the red pears in front and the bottle with pepper berries in the background. The table and worn wooden door as the backdrop is perfect. I am on the lookout for a door like this – think I’ll prop it on my front porch and just leave it there ready to use anytime. Thanks for the inspiration!
You were a brave soul to taste those berries….they combine beautifully with the red pears…Beautiful editing…..
Oh wow! I’ve never seen such. You are a brave soul. A perfect set up with your pears.
