Friday Finds

Good Friday morning everyone! How has your week been? If you are into the season – how are your preparations going?

I have to admit, I’ve been feeling a bit panicked this week – but that drove me to keep on keepin’ on until last night I had all the presents wrapped, tagged, and under the tree. Every single last one of them.

Earlier in the day I made my favourite cookies – Cream Cheese Hazelnut – yummm!

Then I decided to photograph them with this cup I found at Chapters (I actually copied their idea since they had a little package of stacked cookies beside it). I love it when I find a good idea to copy! I ate so many cookies (or was that cookie dough?) that all I had for supper last night was a plateful of brussel sprouts…

Have a wonderful weekend!!

That sounds like something I would do, have something I shouldn’t and then try to counter the fact with a vegetable. Been there done that more than once. Happy holidays. Those cookies do look yummy.

I haven’t baked anything yet this year…nothing seemed to ‘move’ me…but these sound like they rock! And I have everything but the hazelnuts so they may just get baked this weekend…thanks for the recipe…I’ve passed it along to my sister who is the real cook in the family. Merry Christmas!

Your tea cup and cookies are just adorable – wonderful colors. The recipe having cream cheese in it really makes it appetizing, and definitely worth a try. Hmmm, I wonder what other nut would be good in it? Merry Christmas Barb!

I have yet to start my baking. I used to look forward to making all the different kinds of cookies…I think now that the boys are grown the magic of Christmas seems to have dwindled. The composition of the photo is lovely, yet simplistic. Thank you for sharing!

We both had the same idea for cookies and a cup, and I too ate way too many cookies. Happy Holidays.

It is so fun to find inspiration and then do your own take on it. Lovely picture and delicious looking cookies. I like the way you calorie think – those cookies look totally worth brussel sprouts.

What a nice mug ~ I have not made it into Chapters in awhile so I think I will have to go after Christmas to check things out and see what they have left and on sale! Wishing you and yours a very Merry Christmas. xo
