Early spring wildflowers

May 20, 2011 by Barb 7 Comments

Our beautiful little pincherry trees are blossoming – it seems to happen over night and if you blink – you’ll miss it! I watch the trees in our yard and am acutely aware of what time it is; early spring, late spring, early summer, mid-summer etc. etc. It’s a steady, predictable progression and I appreciate and savour every moment. Processed with one layer of Kim Klassen’s ‘Sweet Treat’.

Fruit tree blossoms have to be some of the most lovely in spring. It’s a shame they don’t last very long. These are so pretty! :)

I somehow missed commenting on your White post. The image is beautiful; it captures the delicacy of the flowers so wonderfully.
