Blackberries can be somewhat difficult to photograph. I spent the better part of a day figuring out how to best show off their gorgeousness and it happened by chance …
Check out my process, and a few Lightroom tips, on my food styling post at Kim Klassen dot com.
so beautiful and inspiring. Styling is the part I have the most difficultcy with. Thanks for the inspiration
Such a wonderful post dear Barb! Each picture is an absolute beauty!
I loved reading your search for berries… and not being inspired when they were all in front of you… and putting them in the freezer…
In the end, you’ve created such a fabulous series of pictures… what a great idea to use the frozen blackberries…. this light white layer covering the berries adds such sweetness, such softness… and your choice of using a mauve linen towel and some vines of clematis is so perfect… linen, flowers and berries being so perfectly arranged on this washed old wooden table… love the pictures with the glass, great idea…
so much inspiration… thanks for sharing your tutorial Barb…. and you were so inspired to buy those linen towels… no regret… they match so perfectly your frozen berries (which could be used to dye some white linen!)
These are absolutely gorgeous, Barb.
Truly looks like images one would see in a magazine.
Beautifully done!
