Just popping in to share some autumn leaves and forest floor treasures! I also found a sweet wreath made by Mother Nature herself!
We had a bit of a windy day yesterday and a lot more leaves were flying around … I’m pretty amazed at what’s left … these are from our Amur maple:
… and here are a few of my forest floor finds for Be Still 52 … coming to you #fromthepottingbench:
Lastly, I was headed out for a walk one morning and spied an old, hollow tree stump.
Leaves had fallen all around the edges and I thought it looked like a wreath (yes, I did add a few extra) but how fun! Can you see the mushrooms inside?
Just enjoying autumn. Thanks for dropping by, and have a wonderful Monday!
Such beautiful photos of autumn! Love. And the ‘nature’s wreath’ is a wonderful find!
Seeing these on IG just doesn’t do them justice and much prefer seeing them big. That pretty little maple leaf I have never seen that tree before such a pretty little leaf and oh my those colors. Mother Nature sure know how to paint pretty.
really sweet! miss having maples…
Gosh, you’ve got some pretty fall color going on around you! Love your little collections and sometimes Mother Nature does need a bit of a helping hand. Well done!
Beautiful autumn images! Maples have the most gorgeous colors! Love the wreath!
Such beautiful fall treasures!!! The color of those maple leaves- so beautiful! I was disappointed not being able to take time for a drive into Yellowstone while we were there; in our part, the leaves were just beginning to change. You are having such a gorgeous fall- can’t wai! I love your “wreath “!
I planted a maple the year before I moved from Texas to Louisiana. I often think of it and wonder how it’s doing. These colors are spectacular. Nature’s wreath was pretty special, too
Autumn treasures!! love the addition of the heart shaped stone :) the little fairy tale swimming pool you found is amazing…
