Texture Tuesday Pansy

What do I dream about? When I thought about it, I didn’t really have an answer so when I challenged myself to come up with one, my garden came to mind.

Yes, I dream about my garden. I miss being able to walk outside to pluck even the tiniest little bloom. I miss my potting bench (which was a simple dream of mine that came true), and I miss photographing flowers. I had to dig around my files this morning and I came up with this tiny pansy bouquet. Such a simple little thing and at the time, I don’t think I appreciated it as much as I do now.

What’s one simple thing you dream about?

I dream about photographing flowers this time of year too. I have grand plans to go outside and capture the beauty of winter….but that never seems to materialize with the cold temps! This is such a lovely shot!

First of all, this photo is delightful! Truly ‘dreamlike’, it evokes a wonderful feeling. And you are talking my language. What I miss most in winter is the garden, the flowers, the colors, the warmth. Yup! That’s my language.

Your image is just gorgeous and so creamy, truly beautiful whispers of color. Your photo whispers to us that “yes, spring is on the way, and I will deliver warm sunshine, and pretty flowers”. It is definitely one to brighten our day!

The little flecks of light make your photo look like a dream. The white on white is very pretty. I dream of walking on a warm beach with sand between my toes and a shell or two in my hand.

I’m dreaming of my garden this year. The gardening catalogs are rolling in giving me ideas. I’ve resorted to photographing “things” and “food” because I can’t fly out to my garden and cut some flowers. I may go and photograph some of the dried leftovers one of these days though and just imagine there’s a beautiful flower there on that stem!

You explained your image really well and your edit has given it that feel also. I know how you feel as my flowers are in all their glory now on my patio loving the cool weather. Come summer they will not be and I will have to stop by your blog to see your treasures.
