Sunday Sundries is simply a collection of random happenings, suggestions, and a few questions in no particular order.
sundry |ˈsəndrē|adjective [ attrib. ]of various kinds; several, various items not important enough to be mentioned individually
I’ve done a bit of baking, and I may or may not have eaten some of this cookie dough …
… but for sure I’ve eaten a few of the baked results …
If you’d like the recipe you can check it out here, but I’m warning you they are a bit too yummy.
I decorated my step for Christmas and was quite happy I did before the big storm hit.
Yes, it’s quite beautiful …
I’ve been housebound since the snowstorm hit on Wednesday night. The hubs hasn’t been able to clean the driveway and there’s a ton of snow on it. I don’t mind, really. I am perfectly happy staying at home, cozy and warm. I’ve been baking and listening to music … speaking of Christmas music, do you have any favourites you care to share? I’m always looking for new ideas. Here are a few of mine:

How many scrapbookers are visiting Keeping With the Times? If possible, if you are a scrapper, could you leave a quick comment letting me know? And even if you’re not a scrapper, do you use Photoshop for any of your blogging tasks such as photo editing, or templates?
I’m having a guest blogger for the next “app” happy wednesday! That’s on December 3rd, and then starting in January, it’s going to return to it’s regularly scheduled weekly linkup. I’m going to keep it easy though, as there won’t be app or camera reviews every week, just a fun linky party. I hope to see you all come back!
I needed to get a post created and published from my new computer to break the ice. I’m not going to waste any time leaving my old Lenovo behind, I went to use it this afternoon and truthfully I could have punched it! It took so dang long to load even the tiniest thing. So for this post, I’ve used the new Mac versions of Photoshop, Bridge and Lightroom. It’s amazing how quick it is … oh my … I am in love …
Anyway, it’s getting late and I need to get a few things cleaned up around here. I hope you’re having a wonderful Sunday!

Congratulations on your new Mac! I’m a PC gal but I do most of my editing, templates, etc., in Lightroom. About the only thing I use PS for is watermarking {I know, LR can do this but I’m too lazy to change my ways!} and adding textures, if I use them. This gal is not a scrapper.
Your photos are lovely and i’m afraid to look at the recipe because the cookies look so good. Stay warm and happy!

The cookies look scrumptious and your decorating is always inviting.

How special the snow looks in your images, but wow that is a ton of snow. I also love staying in and it doesn’t bother me in the least to stay inside. When we had a cabin in the Sierras and we would get snowed in, it was just the most special time for our family. Beautiful scene. I am so glad you like and got the Macbook, I know I love mine so much, everything seems easier on it compared to my PC which I use for e-mails and searching on the web. I use my Macbook totally for editing in LR and go to PC to use content aware and a few actions that I like and of course adding textures. But in LR 90% of the time. Not a scrapbooker or rubber stamper any longer.

First, the fairly new PC sits in the basement office, rarely used. When it is – I h a t e it, other than using Word or Excel. It will probably die from dry rot…

geesh!! something just happened and only part of my comments were posted. Yes, I do use Photoshop for scrapbooking, but haven’t learned much about it, since I have been focusing on artful images. Would love to learn from you. Thank you!

Those cookies may make an appearance at our hot chocolate open house!

Barbara, So glad I stopped by! Thank you for the cookie recipe – they look so delicious – perfect to go along with a cup of chai tea. I loved the view of your snowy steps with the hints of holiday decorations. So fun to hear all about your new computer (my youngest son is loving his Mac, too!). And your title Sunday Sundries is perfect – I might have to borrow this idea! Beautiful images – including the one I have in my head of you curled up, cozy and warm, in your home, baking and listening to music and making artful photographs! Just joy!

I love the idea of a “sundries” post ! Your images are lovely as always, the snow is so pretty, but I’m glad it’s yours and not mine ! ( we had temps in the low 70s today ! ) I’m a homebody too and like nothing more than being in my home :)
I’m not a scrapbooker, but do use PSE for adding textures and text to photos. Also I have a few layouts I like to use in PSE as well.

I’m a scrapper, and I love your blog.
