What is it about coneflowers?

I love them at all stages, but it’s at the end of the season when the petals are crispy and curling that I find them the most beautiful.

Yes! Coneflowers have become one of my favorites from beginning to end. I find their seedheads to be so intriguing. And look at all that lovely bokeh! Everything looks good with bokeh, don’t you think?

Barb I just love these flowers at this stage too! Isn’t it interesting how flowers are so different at each stage, and still has so much beauty!! By the way, Of course I was also talking about gratitude for you. That made me laugh when you commented that on my blogpost. The Barb’s that I photographed however, are not nearly as lovely as you are!

You’re right, coneflowers are beautiful and as they’re dying, so graceful. Your photography makes them even more beautiful.

It’s so great to see many of us capture and appreciate all stages and ages of beauty in nature — and in ourselves.
