Potting Bench for Friday Finds

May 8, 2015 by Barb 15 Comments

Of course you knew you were going to get more of the potting bench for Friday Finds … right? And about Friday Finds …I can hardly believe it … where did that week GO? It’s just … gone …

Potting Bench

kk_MatterFact

It was a crazy, chaotic, and creative week—I had messes all over the house; from the basement, to the deck, and everywhere in-between …

Parts of it were a bit more organized, like when I went to town to get a hair cut, and then groceries. Of course I had to visit every greenhouse in the area (just to look, I told myself).

However, I did bring home a few pretties … such a miracle after a long, cold, colourless season …

Oh yeah … we did have a bit of this … aaacckk …

Keeping With the Times

… and I fell down some icy stairs (ouch), but other than that, it was all good …

So sorry you fell, take care please. Sure is different from here right now, we have been blessed with a gorgeous week. I knew you would want to know what the weather is like here. :) :) I love pansies and mine on the patio are nearing there end. I love their sweet little faces, and so many to choose from sometimes it is hard to pick just one.

You still had snow? Oh, I can understand that you are tired of that. Snow in May just doesn’t sound right. Even in Germany we didn’t get that – at least I can’t remember that.
I envy you for your beautiful weathered potting bench. And I can imagine how you enjoy the color of the flowers!

Thank you Amy! Falling down the stairs hurt like the dickens and I have the bruises to prove it! But the good news is I got up and walked away :)

    I have potting bench envy! And that little jardin planter is priceless. My ‘potting’ bench is my husband’s old wooden work bench that migrated from the garage to the back of the house. If I can ever convince him to get rid of it, we’ll get a proper potting bench! {It’s pretty derelict. :-) }

So very sorry about that snow and your fall:( It is amazing how snow photos in December are always so beautiful but not so much in May!

Pansies are such a delight! Love how they smile:)

I’m in love with your potting bench, and the teeny tiny violets, it’s all beauty. And I am so glad to have come across your blog, it’s a visual feast.

PS are you Canadian? There are not that many of us out in blogland, so I was wondering if maybe you were.

Oh I hope your feeling o.k. after your fall and that is some crazy snow so late in the season.
Your flowers however are very happy looking and it seems you had a great time planting them in their little pots…I hope you have a good week ahead…
