trying to spoonfeed us our inspiration, eh?! just kidding! :)
Tanyia says
great word you chose. My word for the year is moderation
Ms. Becky says
Barb, you always always amaze me. You provide the dictionary for us, for the cry!!! Last year’s word was “leap” and I’m not really certain that it did much for me. I mean, it may have, and it might be lying in the ditch somewhere, dead like roadkill. I just don’t know. So I decided that for this coming year I’m going to read my daily Zen calendar and try to apply the day’s phrase to my own self/life. But you know, you do have a knack for having a positive impact on people. I’m off to look over your small dictionary here. I just might find a word that screams out at me! (and you are the most inspirational person I know, truly). cheers!

I am laughing at TEXWISgirl’s comment…Barb you are the best. Encouraging (inspiring) us by giving us a mini-dictionary. But my word isn’t on your list….savor. Felt it could have multiple meanings and could go in different directions. Beautiful pic, nice to see color!!
Kathy says
Great word “inspire”. I look forward to seeing where it takes you. My word isn’t on your list “Nourish”. But that’s okay…I’m going to keep t his list next to me when I play “Words With Friends”…with it’s help I’m gonna BURY my sister the next game we play :)

You’re the second blogger I’ve heard about using a word for the next year … I think mine will have to be deliberate (so I can make a plan and reach a goal). Happy 2012
joo says
Wow, Barb – you keep amazing me! Not only inspirations, but also English lesson:) Ta!

Thank you so much for the inspirational word list. Still haven’t picked my word and this will be very helpful.

I’ve got so many of them and now I’ve got more to choose from. I’ll start with visualize.
Nancy @ A Rural Journal says
I have seen many bloggers choosing one word for 2012 — yours is appropriate, as you always have something useful we can take away with us. :)
lisa says
Barb, I am at a loss for words here, so I will simply say that I think you are AMAZING!!
Sharda says
You have a lovely blog out here; happy New Year!!!

That is gorgeous and inspiring piece of art. This should be on the wall when you or I wake up and we would see this inspiring wall art first thing in the morning.
Tricia says
Wow, that’s quite the list. I’m going word-free this year. I like that new photo of you :)
Helene says
Oh there are so many words I would choose and I am inspired BUT what I need is time. Maybe my key word should be moderate and then maybe I’ll find time. Oh my!
