Mountain Ash Bliss

October 11, 2017 by Barb 3 Comments

Good morning! We’ve been under a heavy snowfall warning since yesterday, but so far it hasn’t materialized… apparently it’s still coming.

At any rate, it caused me to rush out and snip a few leaves from our Mountain Ash before the snow came and demolished them …

When I posted this to Instagram so many people said they’d never seen one! Shocking! (the things I take for granted ;)

Today you’ll find me inside drinking hot coffee under a warm woolly blanket (not so bad:)

Have a lovely one my friends!

If you care to learn more about Mountain Ash in my area check out this article from Salisbury Greenhouse

Coincidentally, this is the second post I’ve seen in two days featuring Mountain Ash. We actually have some here, but I never knew what they were. It made me so happy to learn their identity. I love their bright red berries, and of course the beautiful leaves in the fall.
