I’m starving . . .

February 19, 2012 by Barb 18 Comments

For colour!

It’s a drab, chilly, February day where I live. I look out the window and I see white, off-white, grey, brown, and white.

This afternoon I was cleaning up photos from last summer – only a few hundred had to be deleted – and I came across my series of Geum. I nearly cried. At the time that I took them I was quite critical of my shots – just another flower in a vase . . . maybe too bright . . . don’t like the composition . . . arghhh . . . what was I thinking?

Sorry, I had to vent . . .

Well at least you had snow, we missed out on that too, I see brown & grey. But the vase of lovely orange flowers remind us that spring & summer will come again soon I hope.

I am starving for color too!!
The lack of snow this winter has made everything seem more gray than usual, but it is almost March, so I am hoping to see just the tiniest bit of green soon.

Love this photograph Barb. Truly a much needed shot of color!

    You have a wonderful day!
