Texture Tuesday – The Gratitude e-Dition

October 4, 2011 by Barb 27 Comments

Our farmers had a good year this year. The crops were beautiful and our September was warm and dry. So now, the grain is safely in, the straw has been baled and all there is left to do is . . . wait . . . wait and be thankful for the abundant harvest.

Joining in at Kim Klassen Cafe where the theme today is ‘Thankful’

oops, unfortunately I lost my recipe – I flattened the file and moved things around and forgot to capture it . . . it happens.

I’m always losing recipes…usually the family ones tho, haha. This is simply gorgeous! And I love how you finished off the vintage look with that fabulous border.

    Great job!

What a silent picture, it gives a old impression or a faded time. Nice one :0)

I so love those old times hay bales. In Finland they cover the bales with white plastic present days, so boring.

Love this vintage looking farm scene, Barb! I love the texture and frame! Nicely done! We are farmers and so I really understand that sense of REST and GRATITUDE when the crops are in! God is good…the Lord of the Harvest!
