Good Friday morning! I can’t believe how fast the weeks go (and how I’m struggling to get posts published).
Good Heavens! I’m on holidays surrounded by sun and warmth and flowers and trees. You’d think I’d be brimming with inspiration. Not.
I only just brought out my big camera (after a week) and I haven’t taken any photos. So once again I turn to Instagram.
I found these lovely sunflowers at Trader Joe’s, set them in a vase on my old weathered Mexican table, took a quick photo with my phone, and called it a day.
Can you believe I forgot to put water in the vase? I was pretty puzzled when I got up the next morning to find my flowers drooped over and looking pretty sad. Now that’s just weird.
Anyway, today I want to find my mojo. I’ll let you know if I find it …

Beautiful – It’s because you were so focused on the taking of the picture, but I’m sure they perked back up…golly I love that waterlogue app, but not sure if I love it enough to go the iphone route. My phone is up for trade in next month, can’t decide what to get?

Soooo pretty!! I love that app, and the photos you process with it! I hope your flowers perked up…you really are on vacation. Glad you are enjoying the warm place.

It’s funny, the things we either think about or forget because we’re going to take a picture. Call it vacation brain. Hope you are enjoying the time away.
TexWisGirl says
laughing at you forgetting to water them! :)
beautiful effect on those, tho.

These are even prettier on the ‘big screen’! Sometimes I think when we’re on vacation that our creativity ought to sky rocket. I find it often doesn’t happen that way and often the lull precedes a burst of energy and ideas. Enjoy your ‘time off’!

Your waterlogue sunflowers are beautiful! I hope they revived once you put water in the vase. :)

The flowers turned out beautiful. We all have those days/weeks/months. I use to beat myself up about the photos, now I am happy to just get one taken some days.

Love this app that creates the lovely watercolor painterly effect. So glad you are on vacation and please don’t fret when your photo mojo takes a holiday, too. Joy comes in many different forms on different days. Thanks for the inspiration – always.

I can relate, I have taken images and have them downloaded but have started editing, It will all be there when I get to it, right now I have too much on me to even begin. I have been enjoying the Waterlogue images on IG and of course the weather. :)

Some days are filled with inspiration and other days just aren’t. I still have not bit the bullet and downloaded this app but people are having so much fun with it all over Instagram I don’t know why I haven’t. Enjoy the sunshine ~ your photo as always is beautiful.
