So I don’t know if it’s any secret, but my secret is that I am a scrapper … I tend to steer away from talking about it on my blog, and I wonder why? It’s such a huge part of my life.
I scrap every day. I work for Digital Scrapper. I write tutorials for Digital Scrapper. I’m on the CT at Digital Scrapper, and I’m a past CT member of several other scrapbooking sites. I even contribute to the blog at Digital Scrapper.
So anyway, now that I have that out of the way …
I just thought I’d share my latest creation. This is an iPhone photo-inspired layout. I loved the colours, the sequence, and of course the subjects! The grandkids played together outside almost all day, every day over the Christmas holidays, coming in to throw their soaking wet snowsuits in the dryer and then heading straight outside again.
Sweet memories saved.
really cute. :)
This is wonderful, Barb!
I love the design.
I used to do some digital scrapping…not sure why I don’t anymore. I loved it so much more than the “real” stuff due to the no mess. I could sit here at my computer and just play and snip and re-arrange and paste and no mess, perfect. Love your page, filled with such happy moments!!
Barb, I’ve already made a note to myself that I want to investigate your digital tutorials on that website – I can vouch though even without going there, that you are the person for the job. I know I’ve said this to you before but you have taught me about seasons in a special way. I get now that not having colour on the outside landscape can really affect someone. But as with everything, and seeing your winter photos, it’s two sides I guess. (disclaimer: I know there’s lots of hardships to this weather as well). Renee
Thank you, you are so, so sweet!
I love that you are a scrapper and work with Digital Scrappers, or I would have never got connected to you. You pages are always such an inspiration to me and, I’m sure, many, many others!! Thank you :)
Thank you so much Kathy! I so appreciate your kind words!
You are so talented! This looks like a hobby I might enjoy. Will have to check it out. :)
Barb, I’m so glad you’ve decided to share your scrapbook layouts on your Blog. You are definitely my mentor when it comes to scrapping…..such a clean, neat and lovely-to-gaze-at style!
This is an awesome page, says the non-scrapper. The colors set just the right mood for the photos and what I imagine will go on the rest of the page. Well done!
These colors are just gorgeous!
I love scrapping. Best way to give a memory to someone is to scrap the items together for a birthday card, etc. That is awesome that you get to work at something you like everyday. :) Love the photo page and the kids will love seeing it as a cherished memory also some day.
Love this layout, Barb, and I’m so glad you came out of the closet and admitted to being a scrapper! I was a paper scrapper for 12-13 years before discovering digital scrapbooking. I also do Project Life and an occasional mini album for trips and my grandchildren, so that’s the extent of my paper scrapping now. I still have a roomful of supplies I will probably never use up. I am going to have to check out your tutorials!
Love love love! I actually scrapped this week, first time in awhile.
Great layout Barb I love all the white space and the blue touches….
Simple, yet very beautiful…I love it. I wish I knew more about digital scrapbooking! It’s on my list of things to learn.
