3 Things

texture tuesday, kim klassen

Good Morning! It’s a beautiful September morning where I live; sunny, with clear skies, and a predicted temperature of 29 degrees Celsius. Pure gorgeousness! I’ve just returned from my morning walk and am ready to get busy.

I’ve probably mentioned a few times that I always have a few too many projects tumbling around in my head. So today I’ve decided to write down 3 things that I must do today.

  1. Organize the linen closet (arghhh).
  2. Decide on a subject for a guest blog post I have coming up in October, and get writing!
  3. Go on a photo “drive” around the countryside, starting around 5:00 pm. Our fields are turning golden, and the light is as well.

That’s it, that’s all! Happy Tuesday!!

What I like about this photo is that you manage to use the textures and keep it interesting adding to the image, but keeping it simple. Sally

Hi Barb! Wonderful pear trio…beautifully staged and photographed. I’ve been looking at peppers after using one in a still-life for Facebook and Flickr. I’ve never been able to find really pretty pears, but maybe this year will be different!

I was just thinking of pears this morning and that I need to photograph them. I not only love to photograph them but also eat them this time of year. Your image reminded me of the juicyness, so lovely with the texture and processing. Your list sound divine especially the leaves turning.

I adore photo drives ~ they are the best kinds but something that one must do alone or with another photographer friend. Hubby just does not understand ~ pull over now or stop the car ~ he just doesn’t get it! Can’t wait to see the photos you took tonight.

Love……. Our good light here is now at 7:30. Your days shrink faster than ours. When we were north this summer I remember it still being light at 10PM.
